Victoria Filimonova is a UK-based visual artist working in analogue, experimental and digital photography, artist book and printmaking. Her practice is largely process driven. She enjoys printing her own work and experiments with expired paper, film and darkroom processing until all elements fall into place.

Victoria’s projects are inspired by her interest in natural sciences and history, as well as her life experiences. She draws parallels between human and non-human worlds, and often uses nature and its elements as allegories for human traits and conditions.
